Shengli Energy Open Pit PV Project is successfully connected to the grid
At 16:56 pm on July 22, the Shengli Energy Open Pit PV Project constructed by New Energy Company was successfully connected to the grid, marking the successful realization of the project’s goal of grid-connected power generation.
As the largest photovoltaic power station project installed in open pit mine and the first centralized photovoltaic power generation project in Ximeng, Shengli Energy’s open pit photovoltaic power generation project covers an area of 7,500 acres and is located in the northern suburb of Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project utilizes Shengli No.1 open-pit mine to construct three rows of soil discharge field photovoltaic storage power station, with an installed capacity of 150MWac on the AC side and 63MWh of energy storage, while supporting the construction of a 110kV booster station.
The Shengli Energy Open Pit PV Project is a new exploration of the coupled development of green mine construction and new energy in open pit coal mines, and is a vivid practice of ecological PV + green mine. After the completion of the project, it is expected that the annual output of green electricity will be 224 million kWh, saving 98,700 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 295,000 tons. Mining area in the production of carbon at the same time and realize the "carbon reduction", so that land saving, emission reduction, green protection of the three benefits to form a synergy, for the realization of the local energy industry to make positive contributions to the transformation of high quality.
